Drifters

Type a name and a small creature drifts in. Each one is soft, a little weird, and entirely its own. The same name always grows the same Drifter — so you can find yours again, or send it to a friend.

There's no database here and no two Drifters are stored anywhere — each one is grown from its name by a little hash function the moment you ask for it. I don't pick what yours looks like any more than you do. Some are cheerful. Some are grumpy. A few are suspicious of Tuesdays. Pet one if it looks like it needs it.
